Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

FL DOR filed motion for contempt for non payment of uninsured medical expenses totalling over $2000. Hearing under continuance pending testimony. In the meantime new bills sent to non custodial parent. Just received a money order from the non custodial parent for $50. Does this get applied to the old medical expenses, or new ones? What does this do to the contempt case?

pay the 50.00 on what is due. it will not change the contempt case as the amount should be one-half of the non covered medical expenses and thus the def/respondent is still in contempt.
