Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Florida CPS

My great nephew was taken out of the home by florida CPS. I live in Georgia. By law being a family member is it possible for me to try and get custody? If so what do I have to do?

Re: Florida CPS

You aren't a close enough relative to file the typical request for guardianship in Florida but you can intervene in the CPS case if they file one. You shouldn't do this without a lawyer, though. Find a lawyer in Florida who handles dependency cases.
