Florida Divorce

My daughter's ex obtained a divorce in Florida. He lied about knowing where she lived and her income. He got full custody of their son. She was unaware it was final. She is low income and can't afford the $10,000.00 fee to contest it. What options does she have since he lied. She lives in Texas

I'm sorry but she has very limited options if she cannot afford an attorney. I would be very surprised if a legal services group would get involved a case of this type. I'm sorry that your sister was taken advantage of by her ex-husband, but only a good attorney and a payment for his/her services is going to change things now.
