What are my rights to relocate my child from florida to New York where my husband resides, I was never married to the father of my child, but did sign papers agreeing not to move without court order?

You already have your answer. You stated that the agreement which you signed states that you must have a court order approving your relocation. Therefore, this is what you need. In florida, the court in this type of case wants to be sure that the move is in the best interests of the child. Not that you are moving to be mean to the father. Find out if the father approves of this move and work out a new visitation schedule. If he agrees then this will only help your case. If he disagrees then take it to court anyway and show how this move is best for the child. Good Luck.

Although it was by agreement, it's just as if the judge said it to begin with. You had better apply to the court for permission.
