Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am in Florida. I know they do not recognize a legal separation. I do have this. However, my husband went on a deed as "unmarried". Is this legal? Can I find out how he filed his taxes? As unmarried or married?

Until your divorce is final, your husband is married. As to the deed it would depend on the laws in the state your husband has obtained a deed. With a marital separation, it may be that unmarried is the proper way to purchase property in that state. As to his taxes, unless you are entitled to a copy of his taxes, you will need to contact the IRS and see if there are guidelines that will provide that information to you. As a married spouse, did your separation agreement state whether you are to file together or married and separate?
