Florida is stealing my bonus, because they can't do simple math!
I'm not a dead beat dad.I can prove this,but florida don't want to hear it. they have sent my employer a letter to send them my bonus check.I/m not in arrears and I am waiting for florida to do an audit of this problem.im the mean time my company will have to send fla. my bonus check soon. Can anyone tell me if I can go someplace and get an extension until Florida resolves this gross mistake?

There is a federal statute that gives the Florida Depr. of Revenue the ability to contact employers and seize paychecks. If you are not in arrearage they do not have a valid claim but the employer must comply with the courts order. You need to contact the Dept. of Revenue office in the county where your DOM was granted for relief.
