Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My best friend asked me to take in her 13 year old daughter for an extended period of time. They live in FL and I live in MA. How do we do this in such a way that I can get her enrolled in school, make her medical decisions, etc.? Is a POA enough or do we need to go through a full termination of rights, etc.?

This child has two parents. You are going to need consent from both.

You ma;y need to be appointed temporary guardian in MA.
