Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My friend is engaged and they are about to pick put a setting for the ring. They are using one stone that is a family heirloom. The stone is appraised and photographed. He wants to be sure that should they ever seperate that he gets the stone back. She can keep setting and other stones. Is there a basic form they can do own their own that is legal and binding requiring her to return the stone?

They can do what is called a pre-nuptual agreement. They can agree on distribution of the property that they have now.
