Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

A friend has just gotten a legal restrainging order against her husband they have a 1 year old who he has taken and left the state of Florida. What or how can she get her daughter from the state of Georgia, is the restraining order good in the state of Georgia? Will the law system help her to get her daughter there and bring her back to Florida?

First, she needs a lawyer. She shouldn't trust her daughter's safety to her own legal wits--or lack thereforeof.

She needs to file for an emergency pickup order if the father has violated a court order, such as a visitaion order, or if the father has permanently moved the child from the state. The pickup order should be good in Georgia, even if issued by a Florida judge.

Her "restraining order," if obtained in Florida, is not good in Georgia.
