Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My best friend's 17-yo son is mentally/emotionally/psychologically abusing her. His father refuses to help her. Son refuses to follow rules of house or accept responsibility for his actions. He and his father blame his mother (my friend). What legal options does she have?

There are not enough facts about what you mean by "mentally/emotionally/psychologically". If he is just not being nice to her, her optoins are limited. She can leave; she can file for divorce.
