Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Full Custody

My ex-husband is active duty and currently in Cuba, he just summoned me to court to keep me from moving our daughter out of state for a better job that pays more. I know if this doesn't go his way then he will file for full custody. Should I just go ahead and prepare for full custody? Legally he is to keep medical insurance on her but the medical facility is on base and he didn't provide me a way to get her on base. He doesn't have any contact with her either by phone or mail unless it is something about money is when he is calling.

Re: Full Custody

In addition to preparing for the hearings you should know that your child can still get medical attention even off base if she is covered as a dependent on an active duty military person's "policy".

You should contact the base ombudsman to find out how to get your daughter treatment.

Re: Full Custody

You should be fully prepared for both hearings.
