Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Hello,

I'm trying to gather some information for my brother. The back history is he had a daughter out of wedlock 8 years ago. Since then, a custody/child support order has been put in place. About a year ago, my brother and the mother of his daughter wrote, signed, and notarized a change to the visitation order. The change was regarding how they handle the summer months visitation. Recently, my brother took his child's mother back to court for breaking other parts of the visitation order. A couple weeks after that court appearance, she decided she no longer wished to follow the agreed schedule. He has a court date next month to try to get the visitation order modified to reflect the notarized agreement.

He can not afford legal representation and has been trying to handle all legal matters on his own. I'm looking for any advice on how he should proceed and any possible information on free legal advice he might be able to get locally to him. He lives near Pensacola, FL.

Thank you for your consideration.

Go to the county court house in your area - purchase the package for divorce information - all family law forms should be in it. Complete a Petition to modifiy visitation and request a hearing date - serve the bio mom.
