i gave temporarily custody of my daughter to my sister years ago and now she is refusing to give back my child

If it was done by court order, you will need to modify the order. If merely done verbally, you may need to bring a proceeding for her to return.

would need more info. Was this done by court order. What has changed that you are now in a position to support the child? How old is this child?
