Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

A girl I knew a while ago is claiming that the baby that she had is mine. just recently I found out that she is serving child support orders on me in Florida. I no longer live there and the owners of the house sent the papers back through the mail stating I no longer live there. Can any action be taken against me even if I haven't recieved the papers? I have not done a paternity test or even seen this child once since it was born.

Hire a Florida lawyer and have the case dismissed in Florida. Florida law says you have to live in Florida to have a child support case against you in Florida. DON"T DO THIS YOURSELF, because it's easy to screw this up and cause Florida to have jurisdiction over you.

Then, when you finally get served in your own state, hire a lawyer there. I presume the lawyer there will help you get a DNA test.
