Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My girlfriend just got sentenced to 2 years for violating her probation. I also have 3 children out of state that I need to see. Can i take my child out of the state of florida to go to new york while she is in jail. Do Ihave to have her sign saying it allowed or do Ihave to take futher action.

You are always permitted to temporarily take your children out of state for a short visit. You may not permanently remove your children from the state without following Florida's statutory relocation procedures.

For a temporary travel out of state you do not need the other sides permission or a court order.
