Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My girlfriend and i have 2 year old son together, out of wedlock and we have been raising him together, Our relationship is all but over, I'd like to take my son and start my life all over again 6 hours away from the mother, we both agree that i could do this and we dont have any problems with letting each other see the child when ever possible but since my name is only on the birth certificate and we are not married i know for a fact i have NO legal rights to the baby what can we do?

File a petition for custody with a parenting plan and get the court to approve your decision.
