Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My ex has been with his girlfriend for 9 years. They have lived together for 8 years and have a daughter together. They bought a business but put everything in her name because, as he told me, he will never give me a dime over the 50.00 per week he pays in support for each of our two daughters. They now own a large house (purchased in both of their names) own a boat, two new vehicles and travel often. I requested a review of the child support through CSED and they now say that a downward modification is in order. On my ex's financial affidavit, he states that he works 30 hours per week at their business making $7.25 per hour yet pays ALL of the household expenses....leaving him $2000 short per month. I am filing the Standard Family Law Interrogatories and get to ask him the 10 extra questions. I am not sure what to ask to prove that there is a lot of income coming into that household that he isn't claiming. Wouldn't those be considered "in-kind" payments every month? By court order my ex is supposed to see the girls regularly but it's only about 4 times per year. He does not pay medical insurance, nor does he split the medical expenses like the order statest. I ALWAYS end up losing the hearings because I can't afford representation! HELP!!

We live in Florida and have been divorced since 2003. THANKS!!!

You should request his tax returns for the last three years, loan statements, or a statement evidencing all sources of income not listed on his payment statements. You can use evidence of the house purchase, vehicles, etc. To dispute the income claims. Also have filed a contempt motion on his failure to provide medical insurance, or split medical insurance. You should also talk with counsel about the possibility of requesting him to pay for attorney's fees. Hopefully this will help.
