Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

What good are laws and final divorce decrees when the judges don't enforce them????If you are owed back alimony why aren't you given that, right then??? Then the judge says you have to wait until the supplemental petition case and mediation is over..My ex owes me thousands of dollars in back alimony and he didn't have a judges orders to stop paying....I need my money I gave almost 3 decades into that marriage. How do I get the judge to give me what is already mine???My ex is an ex deputy, what do I do if I believe the judge will be prejudice to me a non law enforcement person..How can the judge not order him to pay me now what is owed,I'm not rich and can't start like I was young again I am 54....I feel so let down by the system that is suppose to be there for the innocent.............Laws of the land a joke HUH?????????

Nice to blow off but doesn't get you anything. The Judge is bound by the laws of the state and court. If you have a supplemental petition in place then you need to follow through on that. It is frustrating but the system got you the alimony to start with. I am sure you can tap his tax returns - have you asked your lawyer.
