grandparent rights

grandson removed from parents and in home of friend by dcf, attempted to take grandson then, but dcf did not want to seperate siblings, other two children not biologically related to me.but said i would take them also if needed, so dcf placed in non relative house to keep together, how can i or can i petition for temp. custody of grandson, ( my sons son) mothers family will not take children. please help

You must file a petition to intervene in the dependency case. This is not something you want to undertake without a lawyer.
