Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

my grandson has been in my care for a month, i have him established in school with his mothers consent. she is doing the party circuit i have asked her to sign a temp custody paper in case he needs medical or dental i will be able to sign for him, she has not responded. is there anything i can do on my own to get him in my custody till she decides to be a mom?
