Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Hallo,

I am trying to get a legal form for power of attorney for multiple people. My mother wants all her children to be able to have power of attoney to all our properties back in Africa, i.e Nothing can be done by 1 party unless we all agree. Please, advice me on what form to use or download.

Thank you fro your help.

sincerely,

Joan

Dear Joan,

To my knowledge, a form does not exist which would do what you want it to do. I think you really need to have an estate planning attorney help you and tailor an agreement to your specific needs. If the property is in Africa, you may need to have an attorney in the country in Africa where the property is located draft the agreement under the local laws. I don't think a US POA would give anyone power over real property in Africa.

Best of luck.
