Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
To much to handle
My problem is with my wife's ex-husband. He continues after 3 years to harass us and to verbily abuse my pregnant wife he can't talk just yell. We have 50/50 custudy of their 5 year old son. He pays no child support which is fine. The house we live in is still in their name until October of this year when we will refinance it(we have waited because of a pre-payment penalty.)he "quick clamed" off the house in the divorce, but kept a car that my wife co-signed for and he let it be repossed. Is there anything we can do to get this car off of my wife credit or make him repay the loan? The custidy is a mess, and how do we get him to leave us alone when restraining orders because of his threats of violence haven't worked?

If he is not paying child support then you can file a Motion for Contempt of Non-Payment of child support. If found to have the ability to pay then he may face jail time. If he is violating a restraining order then he is looking at jail time for that violation. You could also file a Modification of Visitation if he is violent and may be a threat to the child. Any way you slice it he is looking at trouble.
