I wrote my daughter who is in jail a letter and sent her some aa pamplets because she is in jail on drug related charges. She sent a return letter cussing me out. Now her mother has sent a letter stating cease and desist from a atty with no phone number on it. I think this is a fraud. The address is a phoney and i think the whole thing is phoney. I need advise as how to handle this matter.

Impersonating an attorney is not a crime (though practicing law without a license is) nor is it the basis for a civil suit. There probably isn't much you can do about it.
