Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Harassment problems from inlaws

I have always had problems with my inlaws. Things have escalated lately and I never want to be around their emotional or verbal abuse again and I want to keep my 4 month old daughter away from them (they took her out without our permission and then told us to burn in hell). Are there any precautions I should take to ensure they never see her again? If they show up or mail me stuff or call? My mother in law will do all in her power to try to get to my daughter. What are my rights? My husband is upset with them, but I think he will want to work things out. THey have even threatened to take custody of our daughter. Do grandparents have any rights? If things get to the point where I need a restraining order, what do I need to do now to make sure I would be granted one. Should I send a letter telling them to leave me and her alone? Can I call the cops if my husband invites them in to our house? Please help. I don't know what to do.

Re: Harassment problems from inlaws

Although you can get a restraining order you will need the cooperation of your husband.
