Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Got into a heated argument with the wife. After the argument, she left the house and has not returned. I told her before she left that I would be looking for an attorney to start divorce paperwork. She has been gone for more than a week, and has made no attempt to contact in regards to picking anything up, nor has she returned while I've been out, as far as I can tell.

On a side note, I also hold a federal firearms license and keep my firearms at the house (locked in a safe) but she does or did have the combination to the safe.

Can I legally change the locks on the house to keep her out while I am away from the house (we are both on the deed).
