Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Hello,

I am just looking for a general guideline of what to be prepared for. I am divorcing my wife of 18 years. I am earning 66K and she earns $21K. We have three children 16,15, 9. She has agreed for me to get 50% custody (alternate weeks).

What type of financial arrangement is likely (rough estimate)? Would it change when the children reach 18? What about expenses like private school and auto insurance (for the children), who is responsible?

I know every case may be different. Just looking for a reasonable guideline if possible. Thank you very much.

You can go online and find a Florida child support calculator and don't forget to check the part about "over 40%" of the overnights. You are not required to pay support for any child after the child turns 18. You are not required to pay for a child's car insurance, so that's up to you as a parent. You are not required to pay for private school, so, again, that's something between the parents.
