Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Hi,

my ex-husband refuses to give a permition for our 10 y.o. child to travel abroad even to go on a cruise or Canada with me, he argues that I can move with my child back to my country I'm originally from. I've been residing in US for last 18 years, I'm a US citizen, own my house here, have a stable job and pay taxes in US, I've never been considering to move back to the country I'm from, for last 12 years I've been back to my country just 3 times each time for duration no longer than 2 weeks. How can I get a permission for travelling for my child to different countries excluding country i'm from?

Thank you

Back to court, file Motion and ask Judge for permission; it should be granted.

Current law requires 2 party consent to get a passport or a court order. If he will not consent then you have to get an order from the judge.
