Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I hired an attorney for my divorce. My soon to be ex-wife submitted the petition for dissolution of marriage with the request to move the children out of state. My attorney called and asked if I wanted to allow it and I stated no. approx. 45 days later I find out that my attorney never filed the request to deny my ex to move with the kids. Her lawyer is now arguing that since we did not file the paperwork and only objected to it in court verbally after the fact that it does not meet the requirements. I have since fired that attorney but now need to know what I need to file stop her from moving the kids.

Wow, that's a massive screwup on your last lawyer's part. Don't do this on your own. Though I can understand how you wouldn't trust lawyers, get your money back from your last lawyer (who probably has cost you your kids) and immediately find a lawyer who knows how to practice family law. The new lawyer will file an objection to relocation and go nuts on how stupid your last lawyer was. It's your only chance because the law says you lose automatically.
