Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

HRS question in Fla?

The other evening, HRS showed up at my door at 10:30 PM because my stepson didn't do his required classwork and the teacher wanted to keep him after school. He started crying , saying he would get a whipping from his stepdad (Me) and that I broke a pattle across his rear end. This is of course is BS and the HRS agent found no signs of any abuse and left. My question is: Will there be a record of this incident on my file and if so, how may I remedy this situation? I have never had any legal troubles, hold a Top Secret clearance as I'm employed as a contract consultant to the Govt and am worried this could affect my job status?

Re: HRS question in Fla?

HRS is now the Department of Children & Families Services and it responded to a report and the report listed the outcome as: unfounded. That's what it will say forever.

If there would be anything farther along down the line, the Department would pick this up and know what happened. Your remedy is to maintain your outstanding conduct and there will never be a next time!
