Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My husband would like to adopt my daughter but the court is telling us that we need to do a diligent search for the father in the local paper for 4 weeks. Do you know what information needs to be put in the ad? I am in Pensacola Florida.

you would need to file what's called an affidavit of diligent search and an adoption by publication. there are special forms re: same. if you need further assistance, contact me directly.
