Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My husband and I allowed my adult son and his wife to live in our home. We gave them no deadline to leave, only to work and save money so they can get a place of thier own. My name (wife) is the only name on the mortgage. can my husband kick my son out legally? they have no where to live, just got jobs and make only enough money to eat and get to work. we never asked them to pay rent. this is my son, he just returned from iraq and he needs a place to live during these difficult times.
