However, I would suggest that it would not be in your best interest to remove $5000.00 from a business account, even if you are an authorized user, to pay a personal debt, even if that debt is a joint debt. If your Husband incurred a marital debt on the credit card, it will be something the Court will determine should you go to trial, in a divorce proceeding, as to if he has to pay that debt, be it from the business account or otherwise. If you do something now, you might have to pay it back later.
