Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My husband and I are not getting along. I'm trying my best to be civil with him. We want to file for divorce but we currently can't afford it so we are still living together with our two children (9 & 12). Last June, he took in his mother in law to live with us. We don't get along and she keeps attacking me verbally and in front of the kids. We keep having these massive shouting matches when I keep telling her to just not talk to me! I tried to talk to my husband but obviously they are siding with each other. My husband is now having an affair with another married woman. Is there anything that I can do to kick my mother in law out of our home? I've asked her several times to go but she refuses to! I'm tired of it and I just want to protect my children. We are leasing our current home and the lease states that we can't have a guest for more than 72 hours. Help!

You can't evict the mother-in-law so long as your husband allows her to stay. Beg or borrow the $408 filing fee and get your divorce filed fast! In the long run, by the way, the kids will end up hating dad and grandma. Kids aren't stupid. Too bad it has to be that way, though.
