Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My husband is devorced and has a 4 yr old daughter named Kameron. We are trying to get information to take his ex to court to get full custody of her. We took Kameron to the dentist in April of 09 and found out she needed 3 teeth pulled and 3 filled and capped. We were also told by the doctor to get her teeth fix immediately or she would get a severe blood infection and it could get into her blood stream and kill her. (She was only 3) Unfortunatly Kameron had to return to her mothers in a couple of days so we called and told her the severity of the situation and also sent doctors notes and all the information we had. We reminded her mother multiple times a week to take her in which she replied "I can only take so much time off work" which was funny since she had weekends off and was able to take days off during the week to go drinking or to go to Busch gardens. 8 months passed and Kameron finally was taken in and diagnosed with an infection that was starting to spread to her blood stream. Could this be considered child abuse and neglect since she nearly killed her daughter and showed no care or emotion?

This could possibly be considered child abuse and/or neglect, but you'll have to speak with a family law attorney and explain all the circumstances to determine whether you have sufficient evidence to get "full custody."
