Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My husband wants to get divorce. We got married in Fl. but we lived most of our marriage in North Carolina, so, I would like to know where do I need to file for my divorce?. Also, he is being very persistent about filing for taxes and having our sons as his dependents and I would like to know how does this affect me. I don't have a job he was the one who worked.

You can file for divorce in any state. You should retain an attorney to help you reach a fair settlement.
