Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My husband is divorced (in state of Florida). He and his ex came to an agreement on all terms including child support which we pay directly to her each month. His daughter is graduating from high school in May. Therefore we will need to adjust the child support we are paying to the ex. If we come to an agreement on an amount can we put it in writing, have it notorized and submit to court records for filing. Will this do or will court require modification process, etc, etc? Thank you.

If you can come to an agreement a singed Stipulation of Modification can be filed. Otherwise, a petition to modify is needed.
