Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My husband has taken his ex-wife back to court for more time with his daughter and for contempt charges. We started the proceedings back in 4/2009 and since that time have filed all the required paperwork however, his ex has not. He has mediation on 10/26/09 and his attorney has just filed a motion to compel disclosure, what impact can this have on the case and can it push the mediation date back if she doesn't get the information turned in?

The motion to compel is getting filed a little late, so it's possible that the mediation could be delayed. Then again, maybe the information that's sought isn't absolutely critical to the mediation. You didn't say what the contempt was about, so maybe the mediation can go forward without the information.
