Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
my husband which if the father of both my children was incarcerated for 3 years we have been separated for 4 years. when he got out he found me and now he wants to see the kids. i am worried that if i do let him see them that he will try to take them from me. he says he wouldn't do that because he has his life the way he wants it. he has never paid any child support. i filed for child support and then he moved states. i don't feel that it is a good idea for him to have visitation because i don't feel as though he truly cares about them because he only calls them maybe 2 times a month. i am worried that they are going to be hurt mentally if he comes into their life. so i guess my question is am i legally responsible for letting him see them. we are not divorced because i don't have any money. my next question is if he comes here to get them is that considered kidnapping or is it legal. what should i do. thank you. a worried mother

At this point, he has as much right to the children as you do.
