My husband left me and my family four years ago.

He left Florida. We are not divorced yet but are separated.

I would like to what being Legaly Separated means in this situation?

If you are interested in filing for a divorce, please contact my office for an appointment. Do you have children and how long you were married will determine whether or not you may be entitled to alimony.

While you can live separately from your spouse, Florida does not recognize "legal" separation.

An internet inquiry is no substitution for an in-office consultation with an attorney.

Contact me to schedule a no obligation office consultation. While telephone calls, and email responses, are encouraged, please do not send text messages.
