Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My husband and I live in Florida. We own a business, the business is incorporated. I am the president of the business, My husband would like to buy me out of the business, He plans to ask his attorney when should he schedule the closing on the business for. What should I be aware of?

Have the business appraised by a professional so thatyou will know what the value is unless you have agreed on a lesser amount in order for him to be taken off the business. YOu need to re-elected a business agent, and follow the Art of Incorp and By Laws that you have to be sure you have done what you need. I suggest you have your o wn attorney as business matters can be complicated.
