Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My husband, whom I have been married to for seven years, is currently unemployed and has been for over two years. He was offered a job in another state and the earnings are more then he's ever made in past jobs. We have a child together, but I have a child from a previous relationship. I have Sole Physical Custody of that child. The father sees her regularly once a week. I asked his permission to move hoping we could avoid court and he said no. Now I know I need to go to court. Does the court often honor the custodial parents' wishes to relocate or is this a fight that I will never win?

Relocation fights are very difficult to win in Florida. Court don't want mothers to move away from fathers who are paying child support and exercising visitation. The rules to allow for moving are strict and the lawsuits are complicated. You should get a lawyer to help you. Call me if you are in the Tampa Bay or Orlando areas. We have a lot of experience winning these cases.
