Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My husband in maryland was awarded custody of our daughter in 2003, he sent her here to me in Florida sept 6th 2009 because he could no longer deal with her.. she was with me 1 month when we agreed to put her in rehab.. he has now went against me in the determination of how long she should stay.. he faxed over the custody papers to the rehab, to stop me from signing her out..he wants her to stay for 4 months.. so now they tell me i cant see her due to md custody papers..Is there a law that over rides Md law since the child resides with me?

You need a modification of child custody, support and visitation. You may have to seek this in Maryland since you only changed custody without an order. You need to check with an attorney in that state.
