Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My ex husband has given up his parental rights to our children who now have been adopted by my new husband. We have a court date coming up soon to take care of a child support issue that was not done during the adoption process. My ex called and kept telling me that if he has to be responsible for any back child support that he will be in the childrens lives not matter what. I don't want him trying to make any contact with the kids at all ( he hasn't spoke or seen them in 5 years). Is there any kind of protection order that I can get to assure that he won't make any contact or get anywhere near them? Thanks

Since you have now had the children adopted - he could be arrested for stalking. He has not rights to the children.
