Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My husband produced another child during our marriage ( infidelity) and is now paying child support for that child. I don't think the courts are aware that he is married and already have a child 8 years old with me. What can I do legally to make them aware that he is married and already has a child. Can I just write them.

There is nothing you can do. Your husband can file a petition to reduce the child support. When he was original served,he had to file a financial affidavit in order to base the child support amount. At that time did he list that he had a child? If he has had a change in his financial status then he needs to file a new financial affidavit with the court when he files to reduce child support. It could be that the bio mom is making more money now and it would reduce his share.
Not sure what you are asking. However the fact that he has a child with you makes his support to the other child lower so it is a financial factor. Contact my office for free consultation.
