Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My husband and I have been raising our granddaughter since she was born. My daughter has agreed to give us custody. What has to be done legally for us to have "legal custody" of the child and put her on our insurance.

You should file a Petition for [Temporary] Custody by Grandparents. You would need both parents to sign a consent to the custody of your grandchild.
