Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

If my husband and seperated, not legally, and a friend purchased everything for me and my son to start over, do I have to spilt any of this with him?

Probably not. But technically, property gets split based on what you own at the time the divorce is filed. Judges have a lot of discretion over that, though, so you should be okay. Get the divorce filed right away so this isn't a problem in the future.
