Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My ex husband and I have shared custody and I believe that my ex-husband is trying to alienate me from my child. When I picked up my son after being with his dad. My son Chris got in the car and started crying and saying his dad is mean and that turned into My son saying that he hates me and that I am not his mother and nobody likes me. When I asked him where this was all coming from he told me his dad tells him to say it and he wants to be with his dad and not me. Everytime I pick up chris after being with his dad he is very emotional and yells at me. when we got home my son appologized to me and said he was sorry and then told me his dad did not tell him to say it that it was all him saying it. but, later on he said he's afraid to tell me because his dad slaps him. I need to have an idea what to do in the right direction because its damaging my child. I just got him into counceling last week. Is going for primary custody the best answere and not allow shared custody.

You may petition the court for Sole Custody and ask for Supervised Visitation for your husband. That way, there will be a designated individual present at all times to keep an eye on the time your ex spends with your son. If they see anything improper taking place, they are to document it. Hopefully, this will nip the situation in the bud. Make sure you have plenty of documentation to support your claims.
