Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My husband is currently unemployed and unable to pay his court ordered child support payments. Can the courts order me to pay the payments?

We have a joint bank account - but I also have my own account at a seperate bank where my wages get directly deposited.

We live in West Palm Beach , Florida.

Your husband should immediately file a Petition for Modification as he has a strong basis considering he is unemployed at this time. The Court will consider his unemployment income. This obligation is not yours but your husband's. If you need further assistance, feel free to contact me directly.
