Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My husband has a 13 year old child in which visitation/child support was established while he still lived in Florida (where the minor still resides). Communication is not the best between the child's mother and father and he is trying to get copies of her grades and attendence at her middle school. The school says that someone in the minors household must put the father's name on the 'contact list' in order for him to gain access to this information #which is now available online#. He is currently living several states away and is trying to stay involved in her acedemics and attendence. The mother will not do this. What other options does he have?
