Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

husband of 23 years abandoned wife without trace for 8 months...lived and had joint bank account with his girlfriend...he went back to wife..is very verbally abusive to wife...never huges or kisses wife nor anything else very cold...he constantly defames wife at their place of business...they have one handicapped child that is why the wife stays...she cannot make ends meet on her own..what can she do to keep him from destroying her character at their place of business...
